Today is one of those days when far too large a portion of my life involves talking to people about bulk mail, tabs, and related equipment.
NY Times today (I’m reading the hardcopy, so you’ll have to find the link yourself) reports on further plunges in private-sector union density. 800,000 private-sector union jobs lost in 2009. There are now more public-sector union members than private-sector members, which is a time bomb set to explode in a few years when the public pension funding issue finally takes center stage....
2-wheeled solidarity
This morning’s commute provided the first example of something I’ve sorely lacked in 3.5 years of riding to work — 2-wheeled solidarity. Or camaraderie at least.
